Spiritual exercises of themselves are nothing. They only become truly effective and beneficial when performed in the light of a Teaching that provides knowledge of the invisible world, of the different beings inhabiting it, the laws governing it and the forces moving through it. And more important still is learning what constitutes a human being, and which are the spiritual organs or centres that enable them to relate to the realms of light in space. But even that is not enough. Once you possess this knowledge, you have to choose to change your way of living, to sacrifice those activities that go against the aims of Initiatic Science.
These are the essentials – do take them into consideration. Once your understanding of spirituality is no longer limited to the intellect, it will be a true understanding, one that sweeps through your entire body, down to the last cell.
